Reflecting on the First 5 Weeks of Bryptos

Five weeks ago today, I started a new media venture called Bryptos. The idea is pretty simple. We create concise 1 minute videos covering interesting topics surrounding Bitcoin & Web3.

We’ve dropped 25 videos on our X account, and the channel has generated 1.2k video views and 14k post views so far. I feel alright about this result considering it’s purely organic traffic with little effort having been made to hype the channel.

The interesting thing about Bryptos is that we’re using AI to create content in totally new ways, and our videos feature computer-generated presenters:

Oliver Coinwell is a crypto industry stalwart who in a past life was a quant and coder at a major investment bank. He credits Bitcoin with providing him the ideological inspiration he needed to progress from TradFi to Web3.

Vanessa Alexander has been a tech and finance geek all her life. She excels in tracking financial markets, but when it comes to crypto, she’s truly in it for the tech. Fun fact: Vanessa was mining ETH back in 2015 while still in high school.

Chadwick Anonson has been an open source contributor since age 11. He became obsessed with crypto following his post-grad work in computational neuroscience, as he believes that developing multiple robust Web3 protocols is critical to our broader technological acceleration.

On the horizon

Bryptos will likely stay localized to X, unless there’s some clear reason to expand elsewhere. Our aim right now is to learn how to better serve our viewers, spark engagement, and generate steady organic growth. I’m also looking forward to voicing more of my thoughts in the occasional editorial.
