I feel as though artists, even those with successful and long careers, are trying to get the very same core message across time and time again. There’s a beautiful futility to it. Despite his many changes, I don’t think David Bowie is really any different from other artists in this way. From beginning to end, his cosmic prophecy cast a celestial light on the absurdity of life.
