Habs were playin so the open mic was bumped. That’s Montreal I guess. But I finally played live for the first time in over 10 yrs. Decent crowd at 2 am, 25 drunk ppl. I wasn’t my best self but it’s a start. Ironically I came down from Hamilton to be the only person who sang in French when I did my song “Vitaline Cayer”. When I played “Albuquerque”, my Neil Young cover, a dude got up and played along on a harmonica. Nice highlight. Got positive feedback. Good feels. Nerves. Glad it’s done.
